In the Dead of Night

In the dead of night
Cars corpselike cruise past my window
I lie here listening
For the next and the next
A lorry growls graunching gears
Up the hill struggling like me
As I try and try
To find evasive sleep

  3. The more we try, the harder it is to find that elusive sleep. I think we can all relate to this one. 🙂
