Joy And Despair
Jane’s sobbing on the carpet,
beating on the floor,
‘cos Fee, who helped her out at first
can give support no more.
Another job role beckons,
a different set of needs,
a time in which Fee reckons
she can do some derring deeds!
Jane’s joy for Fee is tangible,
her happiness complete.
Reciprocal best wishes,
Fee knows Jane is replete
in her knowledge of the system,
she can do what she must do.
So good luck! Arrivederci.
Goodbye my dear. Adieu.
Keep in touch! 🙂

Now, I found this a very fun but curious poem – the quick change in mood and I keep wondering about Fee who seems almost like a fairy or government assistance program–something at least more than a person = very interesting -and musical too. k.

Almost spot on k. Not a fairy, not quite a GAP but something similar. The characters had worked with each other to build a solid foundation and then one had to move on. The best thing was that both parties knew that the other would manage 🙂
Thank you for your lovely comments, it is supposed to be fun and to indicate the contradiction in feelings that both parties can experience when such things come to an end 🙂
