Pledge

25 Comments

The start of life together
sees dark and dismal weather
lift …
as the sun
smiles.

You pledge one to another,
become perfect lovers,
a world to rediscover,
as summer lives and dies.

Blissful days
are wished, as you commit
with
eternal love tokens;
a rich bouquet
and a gothic array.
You ride in an
extraordinary carriage.
