This made me giggle… if you’ve ever shopped in Lidl or Aldi, it’ll make sense. As they say, it’ll probably be the best laugh you’ve had today.
‘Anyone who has shopped or regularly shops in Lidl or Aldi will know that you could go there for a pint of milk and a loaf of bread and end up bringing home the groceries, a set of goalposts for the back garden, a container of oil for the car and a flat-pack barbeque for when the weather is fine outside.’

Thanks Polly! Unfortunately, I was unable to open it. Perhaps it has something to do with my skype update?

Perhaps. Several friends back in the states have had problems after updating?

Brilliant. I’ve sent this on its way to viral circulation in Australia. The late, great John B. served me many a pint over the counter at his pub whenever I passed through North Kerry. A fine host, writer and gentleman. He’d love Mick MacConnell’s ballad too. Thanks for this Polly.

Thanks Polly – I’ve just shared this – too funny. My house is full of plastic crap that I don’t need procured from aforementioned establishments!
