Junk Mail

Who needs junk mail?
funk mail,
punk mail,
cards of clunk mail
stinks like skunk mail,
chunky chunk mail,
dog-end detritus,
debunk junk mail.

Who needs junk mail?
hunk mail,
gunk mail,
sofas, clothes and flunkety-flunk mail,
better when it’s shrunk mail,
downtrodden drunk mail,
don’t they know it’s fail mail?
Junk mail.

  4. And there’s so much of it too. Such a waste of paper.

    • There’s something strange going on with WordPress today, Carrie, I left a reply moments ago but it’s not showing, better luck this time.

I feel like this when I’m thinking of all the trees 😦

  9. Such fun Polly, you know here they throw junk mail, I hate it! Here it thud in my yard late at night as the junk mailer car drives by. Oh well we have to live with it but fun to write about it! πŸ™‚

    • Blimey! I thought we were bad enough getting it delivered with the mail, but special junk cars throwing it at you? Puts a whole other slant on ‘junk’ heh-heh πŸ™‚

  10. Mail preferencing service? πŸ˜‰ Though I can hear you reading this so clearly!

  11. Ugh junk mail! Just as annoying are the cold calls and automated calls – now there’s a poem in the writing!

  12. …and quite how I managed to write this without mention of spam… :/
