You may have to click and enlarge the photo to see him, but we’re so excited…just a couple of weeks after the pond is finished we have our first little frog in residence 😀
Yay – I was so excited when I got my first frog. I quietly tiptoe up to the pond and if I’m lucky I can see him plop into the pond. More ofter than not I only see his behind!
Yes, I do love silence. For me there is much comfort there. Alas, some sounds are loud in their absence and the crickets and frogs were a summer lullaby in the past… 😀

He’s so cute! Tucked under the rock avoiding the sunshine – I actually rubbed my eyes I was so surprised! 😀

Who knows? Wouldn’t that be brilliant! We weren’t expecting a frog until next year, but there he is! 😀

Merci beaucoup mes amis. 😀
It has been a quiet summer here. Our river has been totally dry so no nighttime serenades Polly. 🙂

heh-heh, I first read that as ‘nightmare serenades’ so was going to say ‘we try to avoid them’…on reflection, quietness is a wonderful feeling 🙂
