Keeper of Keys – Brooke Shaden

Keeper of Keys – Brooke Shaden

The keeper of the keys
to worlds we wish to live in,
where secrets float
and the impossible becomes possible.
We have a story to tell,
something on our mind.
There’s a light
to show the way,
a seaweed dress
against the lamp’s sway,
on the bleak bare shore.

This image, the beauty in the stunning seaweed gown, holding a light up to the darkness, the mistress of the gateway back to the sea, the reminder that introspection is essential as we do our personal research, pick our tone, words, & symbols, before we continue in the tradition of all story tellers, shaman, witches, & wise men; touching the face of the prophesies, shedding light on the shadow troops.

    • Ah, Glenn, what wonderful words, you’ve painted the picture with them – lots of myth and legend behind this one – well-executed, I think. Like I’ve said in earlier comments, I was drawn to this specific picture. Thank you for your comments.

To see one’s story as the “light to show the way” is such a positive thought. as, no matter what, you always have some degree of control over that story (even if it’s only in the retelling).
